Download GlassCompute App for Google Glass

We all know that math is hard, or to rephrase it, math can give headaches to most of us when it comes to computing. But have no fear, GlassCompute can give us a hand with that. Although just a simple voice activated WolframAlpha app, it can save you from a lot of hassle.

Allow me to guide you through the process:

1. Activate glass and say ” Ok Glass, compute…population of Ireland.

2. Wait a little bit (no more than a few seconds) and take a look at the computing results. Scroll forward to see all calculations.  Scroll by looking up or down.

Please note that what you are dictating to Glass (the text) is not the actual phrase that will be computed. Your text will be sent to a special server for parsing , then sent to WolframAlpha to be crunched.

Be sure to read the FAQ and understand how a query is handled.

If you encounter any problems do not hesitate to give the developer a hand and report it ( ). GlassCompute is only an Alpha glassware as we speak so any problems should be reported in order to be taken care of. 

We know the app is quite slow at this moment. It will take on average around 6 seconds for the app to respond to your query and only then images will be also loaded.  Like we told you this is just the Alpha version and things will improve with time.
